Do the feet dance to a different dancers song?
Born in another skin, is skin such a mask?
My sun is your sun above the ever changing sky.
My moon is your moon as it ties me to a trial.
To hope for stars to map and show where all the lost belong,
looking for a dance of hope, a dance of all the strong,
to move through gates and doors and locks to reach another song.
Can a heart beat for a different persons soul?
Born of another land, is faith such a mask?
My soil is your soil underneath we dare to tread.
My sea is your sea as it washes all my threads.
To hope for stars to map and show where all the lost belong,
looking for a dance of hope, a dance of all the strong.
To move through gates and doors and locks to reach another song..
My earth is your earth, underneath we dare to tread................
My sun is your sun above the ever changing sky and
My moon is your moon as it ties us to a trial....
to hope for stars to map and show where all the lost belong,
looking for a dance of hope ......
a dance of all the strong......

Hush, hush, time to be sleeping
Hush, hush, dreams come a-creeping
Dreams of peace and of freedom
So smile in your sleep, my baby
Once our valleys were ringing
With sounds of our children singing
But now silence reins till the evening
And houses stand empty and broken
Hush, hush, time to be sleeping
Hush, hush, dreams come a-creeping
Dreams of peace and of freedom
So smile in your sleep, my baby
We stood, with heads bowed in prayer
While soldiers laid our cottages bare
The flames filled the clear evening air
And many lay dead in the morning
Hush, hush, time to be sleeping
Hush, hush, dreams come a-creeping
Dreams of peace and of freedom
So smile in your sleep, my baby
Where was our fine fearsome mettle,
Our men once so valliant in battle?
They stand, cowed, huddled like cattle
And we're to be shipped o're the ocean
Hush, hush, time to be sleeping
Hush, hush, dreams come a-creeping
Dreams of peace and of freedom
So smile in your sleep, my baby
No use in pleading or praying
Gone, gone, all hope of staying
So hush, hush, the anchor's a-weighing
Don't cry in your sleep, my baby
Hush, hush, time to be sleeping
Hush, hush, dreams come a-creeping
Dreams of peace and of freedom
So smile in your sleep, my baby

Old gods die and new gods rise
But one god's flag always flies.
One god's banner marches on -
By every army it is born.
Worshiped by rich - feared by poor -
The blood red endless god of war.
Many names this god has held.
In every kingdom he has dwelled.
By sword, by ax, bomb and gun,
By rain and snow, cloud and sun;
In every season he brings his storm
The endless blood red god of war.
In every land he's sown his seed.
On every land his victims bleed.
In every season, his scythe does swing
And only misery his reaping brings.
Those who gain and fill their purse
Like the war god bear my curse.
The crow's on the cradle with warning words;
The dead on the field with circling birds.
The rich sit back and gain from war
While battle's burden falls on the poor.
Let us turn and worship no more
The blood red god of endless war.

Tumbling through the wild cascade
On swift black wings
A sharp cocked eye discerns afar
Approaching skeins
A steady beat of harnessed hearts
An arrow’s flight
Sailing on the high wide winds
Away from night
And when the water cracks like bone
And day is done
Remember then that steady pulse
Towards the dawn

Walking out into the gloaming
There is no sense of time or place
The distant lights are all around me
I cross the sand but leave no trace
The shores are black and never ending
The jetsum cast up cannot leave
There are no nets, no pier or harbour
Nothing lost can be retrieved
The breakers foam across the horizon
As figures hunch against the wind
We never meet or come together
We never begin and so we never end
Walking out into the gloaming
Till there is nothing left of home
Each grain of sand a soul departed
A life once lived under each stone

Sail me up to reach the Northern Light
Holy Krasin
guided by moon and stars
take me home before you pull me back
